The “Embossed Printing Process” is also known as “Embossing”, “Blind Printing” or as “Relief Printing”. Embossing printing technique transfers text and images as a “relief” perhaps better described as an “impression” onto various substrates. A “substrate” is a fancy term for any material that is acted upon. In this case substrates include paper, cardboard, or types of metal foils. The front of the print displays the image as a relief.
